If you didn't machine or deck/lap the block, it's no wonder it blew. Both the head and the block need to be done, not just the head. If you didn't do the block, you didn't do everything right. I say grab a new OEM HG, throw it in with 72 ft-lbs, and you should be fine.

That doesn't tell you f-all. Almost nobody waits until it gets bone dry, and even if the car won't run anymore, there is still fuel in the tank. I never run below 1/4 tank. Miles per tank is a useless figure. Post your MPG, fillup to fillup miles. Anything else is a waste of time.

There are 3 types of cloth used in MK3 Supras, 86.5-87, 88-89 and 90-92. No, that won't match your cloth. There are cosmetic differences that will be different than your current door panels, however they will fit and function 100% correctly.

Nash, 89's had 6M cranks. So if you want to use an 89 balancer on a 6M crank, that's what it would have originally had. Only 90-92s had the newer crank. Regardless, I just looked it up, and the part number is the same for 86.5-92.
