the person that did this work for you...do they have a business in this and are they willing to do more?....if so could you have the put a pricelist together?
No...poodles...breaking in or not did not cause THIS at all.....he was running an unsprung disk there for it was designed not to slip at all....as I said before...the lack of break in didn't have anything to do with this
And just so you know...alot of clutches have chatter issues before...
to be honest I damn near ignored everything you said and let my verbal diarreah just flow ramped out of my mouth....only reason I can think of.... Hope it works! LOL
I wouldnt really say that ij....I can breakum loose with a 2500-3000rpm clutch dump.....although I do all the sudden have a blown wheel bearing LOL.
N/a isn't that gutless.
Kinda sucks that this result isn't from not breaking in the clutch...would have failed anyway....but spec will not cover this under warranty....sucks for them I guess.
break-in has nothing to do with temp cycleing the metal.....FYI
Even if they took it baby soft on the clutches for the 500 around town stop and go miles....the clutches would have still failed under there driveing style.....and by the looks of it there style is a whole lot of clutch dumping!
tried to edit that but the forum went down for awhile in the morning...gave up and forgot to fix it.....found multi-disks for $1600 ish on one of our vendors site don't know for what motor though.
must be kicking themselves in the ass when the spec clutch is almost $1000 and the multi-disks are like $1200....then the spec blows up and does $300 in damage....
it didnt hurt the splines on the transmission shaft did it?.....id test the shaft with a dial indicator to make sure it didnt get bent.....something like this i could see fucking up a transmission.
Any tuner shop that has experience with your piggyback or standalone can tune your car....they don't need to be 7m experienced....a motor is a motor is a motor....google dyno tuners in your area..
