The spec has the same potential to cause crank walk...the real safe way to hold 400hp+ is with a multi-disk...but they are so damn expensive!
Or you could stop drag raceing...those straps just can't take the abuse of clutch dumps.....they should double up the straps or something cause...
wait...a spec stage 3 pressure plate exploded???.........imaaaaaaaaaagine that!!
SPEC...built to explosive standerds!!!
Sorry dude...explosive clutches are what spec must take pride in...I'd look at ACT or start considering multi-disk.
first of all...whats the reason you are asking this question?
If you are trying to adjust the clutch then this question has nothing to do with adjustment....sounds like your on the way to FAIL....FAIL is bad
b series motors are fantastic engines!!!
super supra dave....stay away from frankenmotors....they are doable but they have many issues! frankenmotor= motor with different head.
now i gotta clean the cum off my monitor....god damnit!
probably because the fuckers tires just started to hook up....guess you have never seen a slowmo of dragsters takeing off....
you need to clean the engine bay!....you use it as a portapotty?
And don't listen to your "friend"! You only deck what is needed...let the machinist tell you what is to be removed!
hmmmm...well considering its a toyota then well maybe a toyota dealer would be a good place to get the banjo bolt.......call me crazy??????????
and to fix a headgasket....you just simply fix it...
Common sense and the search function are useful tools!!!!
well that wasn't too smart LOL!
Well sense you ran the car after it blow the gasket I'm sure your bearings aren't to pleased....now you get to pull the motor and inspect for damage to bearings and crank and then pay for machine work on whatever was damaged.....
is this motor rebuilt??? If so, did you deck the block? Did you deck the head?what headgasket did you use? Did you retorque the headbolts? Did you machine the timeing cover when the block was decked if it was decked?
You didn't give much info....tell us more
I hope he can still jack off!!!! Seriously!
This situation blows so bad but after reading this whole thread I'm haveing a hard time feeling bad for doward but my heart goes out to betterhalf!
shocks not struts ; )
And I did give the dude advice...but seriously its common knowledge to never run drop springs on stock shocks or even new oem replacements....you need shocks that are valved for such springs.
Anyway...to the OP:
