Not really removed, but you could weld it shut if you really wanted to. You'd need some other manifold setup with an external wastegate... and other manifolds that accept the CT turbo don't really exist.

LOL! Here's a tip. Get a bolt that fits the tripod mount... tie a non stretchy string to it, measure from camera height to the ground, and tie a washer on the bottom. Screw in the bolt, stand on the washer, and pull up until the string is tight. End of shakiness. :D

The stock bits EGR / ISC needs to work so that all of us in smog check land can pass emissions testing. I want something with a long runner, so that the runners are welded to the bottom of the plenum, down out of sight. Throttle bodies - meh, whatever will work with a stock ECU, I guess. And...

Goes through the gear into the camshaft, and is held in by a big washer and the bolt on the end of the camshaft.

Well, I really enjoyed it. There were sections that were over the top, like the Tarzan scene, and driving on the tree, but as a whole it was great. The FX were almost identical to the originals. The cinematography WAS identical.
