    fsv/charcoal canister delete?

i never heard of it affecting that. There have been numerous threads about this topic and i havent heard anyone mention that it affects the fuel pump. I know that the hose vents fuel tank vapors by recycling them through the engine so you dont smell it. well good thing junkyards are full of...

    fsv/charcoal canister delete?

yep you can delete it with no problem. for people that still want to use it though you can replace it with one from a honda. its way smaller. our supras have a 2L bottle size charcoal canister and the honda one is like a soda can. Ive been running with out one for a little over a year on my...

    Yes. This person is serious.

whats funny is that the listing was at 59,999 and the reserve wasn't even met.... wonder what the reserve of that auction is. Well at least she was polite about it instead of being a total meathead swearing up and down its worth it and refuses to be ripped off for selling it a penny less...

    Intake Temp Probe, GM type.

I think that horsepowerfreaks sells all the senosrs for AEM seperately. You can just buy what you need straight from them and make sure you get the right part number.

    My intake got stolen WTF???

My buddy had a jeep and i used to mess with him by taking his radio face plate and sticking somewhere else in his jeep. like in the passenger seat cushion or something. it was funny to watch him get in and get pissed off. drunk humor lol.

    1JZ swap problems, please help!!

Yeah i think it might have been a thread i started along time ago about this. I started a thread on this but got into some medical stuff and was away from sm for awhile so i never finished it. this is good enough i guess. All that was missing were a few pics, but its hard to take pics of it in...

    1JZ swap problems, please help!!

It wasnt on the website. i saw they did harness extensions plug and play so i emailed them about the 1jzgte. They asked to see pics of the connectors. I sent them the pics, they replied it was a OBD1 Honda NSX plugs. They sent me the harness 18" i think. I plugged it in and started right up...

    1JZ swap problems, please help!!

yea it runs the same. the extention is on the cabin side of the firewall. you just slide your boot up to the end of the harness and use it seal the hole like normal. Its not an eye sore because you will never see it.

    1JZ swap problems, please help!!

I made a thread about it a long time ago, but this route is kinda like the path less traveled. I'm not sure how many others have done it. It works for me though. I like it because with the extension I now have a somewhat disposable solution for wiring in things to the engine harness without...

MKIII supra drag race looses targa

LOL i was gonna take that to the grave. I wasnt gonna mention almost losing a roof on here. ROFL! I was talking to some buddies as i screwed the top back on, but somehow i got distracted and only tightened the back. next thing i knew i was going down the street and heard the roof starting to...

    Known Hydro-fan problems

The return one with the nipple that has the hose clamp on it? You can just go to advanced auto and get a new line to replace that. If it damaged your nipple part then I'm not sure on the replacement for that. I think if i remember right there is a camry or something that uses hydrofan setup...

    Known Hydro-fan problems

....I...like...my hydrofan....:ban: I bought a clip and used it with my 1j swap and it runs fine. works good. lots of air is moved even at idle just after start. The car has never overheated even in hot, muggy midwest summer. So i dont see a downside.

    1.5JZGTE FMIC hoses, huh???

Yea i was thinking this too, but i think he would have said that the biggest issue driving back would be the brakes sucked lol. But still worth looking. Honestly to help you we need pics of the stuff that you have questions about.

    1JZ swap problems, please help!!

You can cut the hole that mention earlier. Or you can do as did with mine and buy an extension harness. I bought mine from www.boomslang.us I think it was $175? Dont quote me on that price though. Our 1jz ecu is the same as an OBD 1 Honda/Acura NSX. They made an extension and it was plug and...

"Dad can I have the keys to the car" New Ford Key technology.

This idea is good marketing tactic for ford. I still see a few things wrong with it though. 80mph is still fast. fast enough that you can still be in a fatal wreck. not saying limit the speed to 20mph or something ridiculous, but this new system doesn't take in account all factors so it cant...

Need help! touch throttle car dies Problem fixed!

Open up your ecu and see if its fine. Otherwise I would start looking at vacuum lines again. Take a can of carb and choke cleaner and spray your vacuum lines while the car is idling and see if the engine changes. If it does replace that vacuum line and retest it all. Our engines are...
