Bah, it'll be fine, just get the car looked over COMPLETELY when you get it, don't skimp, fix what needs fixing and keep it maintained. Don't bother with modifying it for power, maybe do suspension and brake upgrades, maybe wheels and tires. Enjoy it for what it is if you want it to be reliable...

I don't think there's much of a back story, they restored a TA64. They seem to do all sorts of old rally cars, and other old sought after cars (old Ferraris, old actual F1 race cars, etc).

I doubt it. Not a TA64 anyways, maybe an RA64 and RA65, but TA64's are rare beasts indeed.

Yeah I know fitment is still the same, and the lines still connect in the same spot. There is a different part number for the master in cars with ABS though, not sure if it has to do with pedal height, piston diameter, or what... Never compared the two side by side myself.

I'm not 100% sure what the difference is, but I'm pretty sure ABS will still work. The ABS actuator is separate from the master cylinder.
