Some guy who had an 86.5 N/A 5 speed with intake/stock mk3 turbo exhaust ran a 14.9 if I recall correctly, and the stock mk3 turbo exhaust isn't the most free flowing compared to those other custom made/aftermarket ones.

That's exactly why we need this thread. There's always jokes between the 7M and the 1JZ and how the 1JZ is the cure to people's problems. It's pretty annoying.
The GE electronics na-t costs around as much as the GTE electronics na-t, except it's considered a lot safer and has been done a lot more. A guy who did 1/2 na-t (ge electronics) ended up selling his, and I think it's because he didn't have the funds to keep fixing things. Good luck.

Also, I never said higher octane made your car faster. I said you needed to run high octane if you ran 14-16 BTDC timing.
Do you find that you are from a stop, and when you floor it, it starts revving MUCH faster at around 3200 RPM? I'm not reading it wrong for sure, but it always comes alive at 3200 RPM. Is it an ACIS problem (which right now, I highly doubt it is), or something else?
