What he said. Before I figured out that you can reach them easily this why, I took me about 9-10 hours to get the top two bolts out. Putting them back in using several extensions took me about 5 minutes. I learn the hard way, i guess. :biglaugh:
getting rid of my error codes has been the best BPU yet. :biggrinbo I'm lovin life. Now I need to fine tune my timing & see what kind of difference having a good running car makes.
No, I must have missed that page when thumbing thru the TSRM. I'll do it in a few minutes.
During the rebuild, yes. I've only driven the car about 30 miles since getting the tranny back in, so I haven't changed it after filling it back up when installing it.
If it misses the shift to...
Oh, forgot to mention that once the tranny slips, if I manually shift the car into to second, it will shift into second. If I try to manually shift back into third (Drive), it still slips. The only way to get it to shift into third after it slips is to shut it off & restart the car.

I've been having trouble with my tranny not wanting to shift into 3rd gear. It's not a constant, it occurs every now & then.
I had it rebuilt thinking that I had burned up the clutches (only the banner set was replaced, not the shift selnoids, sensors, ect). This didn't fix the problem...

What kind of problems did you have?
without much mods to the bumper supports? I'm looking at the Meagan 28"x12", but if it involves a lot of cutting I'd rather get the 22"x12". Is it a big pain in the ass to mount?
I found it easier to use about 6 feet worth of extensions & an air ratchet from below the car to get the top bolts instead of from the shifter hole....
Alright, I screwed with the TPS all weekend, but it still gives me error. I did adjust it to a point were it doesn't trip as fast, but it still isn't calibrated. I tried using both of the TPS's I have but nothing. Any ideas?
They identifiy the different types of metals in the oil, how big the pieces are, ect to figure out what bearings are toasted & how bad. The Army uses Oil analysis all the time, my vehicle was 'pissed' at least every three months, but the mechanics were able to order parts before they pull the...
