    Electric door lock mechanism

Someone probably swapped your latches at some point, or even the whole doors. Toyota stopped the handle-holding thing across their entire lineup in 1988 (in North America). In Japan they kept doing it until later (not sure exactly when).

I picked it up at a local place called Auto Marine Specialties. :)

    Electric door lock mechanism

Just a note worth mentioning regarding the latch itself, on 86-87 cars you need to hold the outside handle up to lock the door, 88+ you do not. If you are changing the whole latch, I'd want to make sure it at least matches the other side on the car.

    Supra Car Covers

I have a Technalon one that I bought a few months ago, fits pretty nice and seems to do a good job. Can't complain.

    '88 vs '89 Steering Column Switch Tree=Interchangeable?

I believe I answered those questions in my original post.

    '88 vs '89 Steering Column Switch Tree=Interchangeable?

Yes, they are interchangable, but the slipring has an extra wire on the 89. Easiest way is to grab an 89 steering wheel as well, but the slipring from the 88 can be put on the 89 combination switch as well.

    Definitely faked, for sure.

    JDM part numbers

Yes, but Toyota is not importing them, and Toyota does not support their importation (takes sales away from new cars). Toyota Canada's stance is that they only need to support cars that they have sold, since those cars were not sold by them, they have no responsibility to provide parts for them...

19518-42010 is the harness. Just order a new one IMO.

    JDM part numbers

Up until about 6 months ago... yes. Currently, no. Not unless the part numbers were already loaded into the system in the past, or if they cross reference to a North American vehicle.

Anybody have the MKIII Supra logo?

I think it's high enough resolution that you could probably create a vector of it yourself, no? I don't think I've seen a vectorized version floating around before, though I'm sure someone has one.

We're only seeing what though, 1/3 of the oil filter, maybe?

    JDM part numbers

That wouldn't be in any parts catalog (aside from a TRD race catalog). Race parts are not in regular catalogs, and if it's not on TRD's Japanese website, (which has all the current TRD Japan parts AFAIK), it's not going to be available. In short: you're going to have to find a used one. If...

Paying homage to the new section

I disagree, there are plenty of people here who don't *own* a Supra, but are still valuable members of the site. <<---- Case in point. I have never, nor do I currently own a Supra. "My" Supra is in fact not my own personal, owned by myself car. Should I leave now? But there's enough of...

    Might be mildly retarded but...

I thought it was M12 originally, but when I was looking at some M12 bolts I had, they seemed small-ish. Oh well. :)

What was the part number on the oil filter? Just curious. 90915-xxxxx What's the xxxxx? (Might start with 15600 or 15601 or something else too).
