The thing is, every now and then people have the wrong part number. I still don't care, I'll order you whatever you want if you really do want it.
It's pretty easy to spot someone who doesn't know for sure that it's the right part number.
I of course require (for most people) prepayment for...
It's a national database, all dealers have access to the same codes. The only possible difference is if the national database doesn't have it, but the car was bought at a specific dealer.
Does that counter what I said? Nope ;).
I've written change lists before, but don't feel like looking it all up again.
They did change, just when and for what models varies. Not all Supras changed TPS style for 1989.
That's incorrect, there is no pre-89/89+ specific change. It's a lot more complicated than that and different between N/A and Turbo as well.
As long as the TPS fits your throttle body, you should be fine. :)
California-spec Turbo cars didn't have as much extra stuff like the N/A's did. The Cali/Non-Cali 7M-GTE harnesses are the same.
(Yes this is the harness from the ECU to all the sensors, injectors, etc.)
Inexpensively? That depends on your definition. I think Toyota can still get you a harness. What year/model do you have? Turbo or N/A, Auto or 5-speed, etc.
