i started my car up a little while ago and it was fine for ten seconds, then all of a sudden it started squealing it was kinda soft at fist, then it just let loose, lol...
yeh... anyone know what's wrong? this is the second pump i've put on, and i know for sure that it worked fine before... anyone have any experience w/ this?
if you want a ricer style muffler... i've got one... straight flow through design... i think the piping is around 2.65" i could cheack real quick... it always sounded nice on my car... a bit on the quiet side, but still nice... i can give it to you cheap as hell, cuz i just don't care, lol
i'll prolly drop the subframe... just because i havn't before, and i don't feel like doin the motor right after puttin it in and pullin the other one out :-/
man :-/ i want a hks sport badly... for some reason i like that exhaust... but i was planning on a y pipe (with a butterfly valve controlled by an electric solenoid) after the DP.... i need $ :-/
any suggestions about how to do this (replacing gasket)
my ideas are
1. pull motor
2. drop front cross frame/ rack and pinion (would someone tell me what the correct term is for this?)
any input is highly appreciated :icon_bigg
also... random coolant hoses will be needed (the coolant hoses on the back of the motor going to teh heater core are routed differently, and make sure you have pics or something to look at for the vacuum lines under the intake mani... no fun
well, i just now read this entire thread, and i had seen pics of the 2jz blocks somewhere else before... but i had no idea you were building an engine set up for your car... it's truly amazing thought... good luck w/ the project, and i'm happy to hear you'll be using a r-154 :biglaugh:
