Well I thought I did but I don't see or feel a place for that cable to connect to.
This is the banjo you guys are talking about right?
Here is another pic of the plug I am talking about
It seems like it connects somewhere under the throttle body, should I remove the TB? Seems like that will...
I looked under there and all I see is a banjo, do I follow the banjo line and it will take me to the connector?
Ahhh okay, when I get back I'll move the car near the garage and check it out. Thanks.
Is it the picture on page FI-81 in the EFI system > fuel pressure regulator section? Step 3. Disconnect No.2 fuel pipe is that where it connects on the right side of that picture?
the oil wasn't expensive at all actually lol. Cold start injector eh.
Well son of a bitch it is for the cold start injector just looked it up in the TSRM lol. but I don't really see where it is exactly, don't tell me it's underneath the intake manifold.
That larger rectangle connector does go to the throttle body, the white connector goes to the idle control valve. I am still looking at the TSRM to find out where that smaller black connector goes.
That bigger plug above the one I am talking about connects to the idle control valve that smaller plug can't fit in it it's too small. I'll check it out and feel around and try to find it and I also need to find out where the vacuum and oil leak are, I am thinking a vac line just popped out...
There is 1 plug I can't figure out where it connects to, it sticks out between the idle control valve and throttle body, black rectangle plug.
It's the black plug at the bottom left to the left of the brown injector plug in this picture, I know the other rectangle black plug connects to the idle...
There is a small oil leak dripping down to the middle of the car but I saw some splashes of oil on the passenger side wheel, I will check it out tomorrow and see where it is leaking from. Now for timing, I remember someone said it should be at 10 degrees, is that 10 degrees after or before TDC?
It was terrible lol, took over a month from start to this point and had to deal with fuel leaks. I must say though I could not have made it to this point with very few problems without you guys, thank you all very much for all of the help and advice and dealing with me asking similar questions...
The first start up took a little awhile but that is to be expected. Here is the second or third start up
Tomorrow I will try to find out what that loud hissing sound is probably a vacuum line I missed or came out.
Yea I got a new washer and it works perfectly now, no leaks, car started right up and adjusted the timing a bit to make it not run a little rough but I will get it properly timed. There is a little smoke coming from the turbo area I think that is just from sprays like pb blaster and such that I...
I went to start the car up but my brother saw some fuel coming out from the big banjo bolt regulator type thing that connects the number 1 fuel pipe to the fuel rail at the back of the motor. It was not tightened all the way but I am confused on how the washers are supposed to go around the...
Well I know I can do what I want lol but I want to know what would happen if I installed that Lexus AFM since I read that if I put it on I would run lean. I'll just pass on the offer and keep scouring for a master window switch and blue coin holder since the lid on mine keeps popping open...
Someone just pm'd me on another forum saying they have a lexus afm for sale and wanted to sell one to me, I do plan on going with higher boost eventually but not anytime soon should I still buy the AFM if it is cheap and store it until I get 550CC injectors?
Well I scared myself shitless when I poured almost 2 gallons of distilled water into the radiator then I saw big puddle under the car down by the end of the tranny, I got under and followed it turned out to be the hose at the back of the motor on top that I forgot to tighten, so I did and no...
