well , call around to a couple machine shops and find out how much they want to deck the block, or have it checked for cracks.. the nice thing about jdm motors is... that you have a good running motor from the get go for usualy the same or lower cost then rebuilding... you dont have to...

i susgest fixing the leak/ problem asap, having a clutch that isn't fully disengaged will prematurely wear the synchros.... i had this happen on my celica and killed a perfect w58.. of course it's not dead yet, but shiftin sucks in the morning when it's cold..
