Yes it's used to adjust your fuel, but you can't compensate for venting to atmosphere with a SAFC. When you vent to atmosphere, you're losing air that the ECU thinks is there, so your ECU is still going to add the fuel for the air that was lost.

    Bling Guide

Use a palm (orbital) sander. You'll never get it done with a dremel.

    Bling Guide

For me, it's really simple. I start with 80 grit, followed by, 120, 240, 400, 800, 1000 & then 1500. After sanding with 1500, you'll se the luster. Hit it with Mother's polish on with a buffing wheeled bench grinder. Repeat the polish two more times, cleaning it thoroughly between the...

Hard to decide, need inputs: turbo elbow, DDP, or cooleeze?

I have a cooleeze & I like it, but I wish I would have bought a BIC DDP that returns to the DP instead. I wasn't hot on the idea of the noise of the DDP & I didn't research enough to realize that Randy makes a model that returns it to the exhaust. Considering that you can get +/- 30 more hp...

You think your car is safe in your garage???

He hasn't driven the car since he started the restoration over 5 years ago, so he didn't need full coverage & dropped it to liability as per the state requirement. If the house would have burned down, it would have covered the car too.

You think your car is safe in your garage???

His bedroom is on the other side of the house, it was found two hours after the report was filed & the car was insured other that liability. He had just completed the restoration. Lighten up, he's a very good friend of mine. He's not pulling any scam, that would be like Duane having his...

    polishing the lower intake manifold....

That's my next question, what to use to protect it. Standard clearcoat? I wouldn't think that it would adhere to polished aluminum.

    A340E Flushes

You should do it at least twice a year if you have any upgrades at all. Also, you can't simply drain all the fluid from the pan, you have to hook it up to an external fluid exchanger & let the transmissions pump cycle it out.

You think your car is safe in your garage???

For domestics, I'm a dyed in the wool ford guy that hates Chevy's. I will say that his car was so clean & absolutely perfect that I would rock it any day of the week. If I said that he had $80k in it, I would be selling him short. If I had less testosterone, I'd cry for him. It's one of the...

REIGN's REBUILD! Its a beautiful thing... (THAT IS FOR SALE) =(

If you're down, I can get your I/C to TB piping made when I have mine done. I'm using a large megan I/C & 3" aluminum piping with a ssqv flange. If this will work for you, PM me. I'd offer the pre I/C piping, but yours will be different than mine.

You think your car is safe in your garage???

My nieghbors Camaro was stolen early this morning right our of his garage. The crooks jacked up his garage door, then snaked the car between his two other cars parked outside. Don't ask me how they did it without being heard, we don't know. Anyway, the car was recovered two hours after...

    MIA: tte and maeso

I think it was about 2 - 2 1/2 months. I can't quite recall. I anticipated a wait because I asked for a console that hade the radio recess that had the radio opening, so I knew he had to make a new mold. I was concerned too, but he did come thru & deliver a very nice product.

Such as a bead blaster? I have access to a nice bead blaster, but I don't think the guy wants to change the media.
