There was a spreadsheet posted (not sure if here os SF) that had the list of all the bolts on the engine. Anyone have that list?
I need to order some and got a general idea of a couple :)
but need all them
Thanks!
NM Found it!! In the MK# supra ref section :)
....and then people look at me all dumbfounded when I use NHRA approved bat box in the back.
this is the freaking reason you don't do it.
The SAME freaking reason you don't run fuel lines INSIDE the car!
The SAME freaking reason you don't run OIL LINES inside the car!
Gixx
ok
I am seeing some odd things. When the problem comes in, the knock voltage goes up to 1v. At that time I see the ignition timeing go to -17 degree adtc and I can see the throttle being held at 100. This indicates that the AEM is detecting knock and pulling some major major timing at...
Hey Gix
that ignition map. Need to interpolate it a bit more. That thing looks like a crack addict going through withdrawls designed it. To many jagged edges.
Did you try a Coil Dwell factor of 3 (I am hearing that the Dwell factor is the "time").
God I really hope you did not fry the...
ICK!!
umm perhaps that is your problem
The dwell on the 7m ignitor is floating around 2.3 milliseconds. Any more dwell than that and you will FRY the coil (if you already did not). If I recall the AEM has it set to degrees (why I have no fricknig clue but hey!).
We do especially us old guys. Been at it for quite some time.
Saracasm or intentions don't communicate very well over this. You need to be clear about what you really mean and specific also. Because incomplete information will get called on.
When you post .. Needs no machine work. That is...
umm no
the stock 7m coils are more than adequate to pretty high HP levels.
The RX7 coils would probably require a re-work of the ignitor assembly like what BigAaron did with the 1jz coils.
ack ack ack!!
no no no!!
machine work is to get the head flat so it can seal. With a warpd head you could torque it down to 200 lbs-ft and still not seal correctly!!
also to add
this really is SIMPLE physics.
no even taking the magentic field portion into consideration at first.
There is drag on the engine to spin the alternator. Why? The Rotor has mass. An alternator that has a higher amperage has a bigger rotor which means more mass = more drag...
it is fact
basic alternator function
the stator field is not constant instead it is being adjusted by the load it is seeing (Hence why you have the round plug in the back of the alternator). So if the alternator has a higher current capacity it is not magically coming from no where. The...
all the time
I can taste it but the heat is barely there anymore :) I love it. Taste better (the physical taste not the heat) of the habanero more than any other pepper.
