    Cover every open part with plasticwrap plastic bags and tape. You want to keep moisture away from internals. Also check on it every now and again; a friend of mine left his project car sitting for a month and some rats made a nest in his intake. :icon_evil

    WOW I still have that mag! I saw a ma70 on it and said no f%@&in way. Have to admit it was the first time in a long time I had seen our car in a mag let alone front cover. If only my car was worthy:cry:

    I have you all beat...I'm still rockin my SNES!:icon_evil Who needs graphics that look pretty if the core game itself sucks azz? As far as Blu vs. HD goes, the way tech moves today they will both be replaced by something better soon so it dosen't realy matter.

    Everything I have read says blu-ray is winning. My guess is it is that way because the ps3 plays them. I have seen both and the quality is nearly identical but as a media format blu-ray is larger. You know they say beta was superior to vhs but vhs still won that one. I will be getting a LG...

    $45 and like all of 5-6 min to do. I don't see the problem hood struts are easy to do.:dunno: Yes mine are like yours IJ pop the clip and they are off the hood side for easy engine work.

    leaking manifold gasket,, loss of power??

    The thred reads his downpipe came loose and the exhaust heat started a fire. Yes, and a N/A with an exhaust leak is also loosing necessary back pressure, and as cryoslash stated it will run rich.

    Corroded Battery terminals, loose/bad battery cables, loose alt belt, bad battery....check those.

    It should work fine I think they are the same. sounds like a battery issue, get it tested.

    First time engine overhauler-put-back-together timing questions.

    Best wat to tell TDC is with the lower timing cover and crank pully. The mark on pulley should match up to the 0 on the cover that is TDC.

    Cooling at Highway Speed

    ..... Lets see possible causes for cooling problems: T-stat may not be opening properly, clogged radiator, air in coolant system, pinhole leaks, bad waterpump, bad fanclutch, no fanshroud, upper rad hose flatening out...did i miss anything else? My guess: your new t-stat is not opening...

    May just be taking awhile to soak into the clutch packs. No big deal. If the fluid has never been changed on a high milage trans there is a chance the new fluid will brake loose old varnish and dibris that can build up causing cloggs and failures. Thats what I have heard but never...
