Suggests, yes.
But does Kyle have the sheer strength of will to come through with it.
Doubt it, he'll sell the car before he does anything really cool with it.
It's a sad state of affairs!
;)

WTF I answered your question with exactly what's wrong and how to fix it. You act like I gave you a hard time without answering you 100%.
You have a broken speedometer cable. It just broke today. You need a new one.
Jeff
This thread has absolutely NOTHING to do with the 7M-GTE engine. Why was it in 7M-GTE technical discussion?
Just because your car HAS a 7M-GTE, does not mean you need to post everything you post in the 7M-GTE forum!
Thread moved.
Jeff
Thread moved and retitled. I have very little experience with A/T codes on the A70, so I can't provide much assistance. This thread is not 7M-GTE engine related though, so it belongs in the general forum.
Good luck.
Jeff
A note: Please take a good long look at how your post now looks, and where it is. I hope you can fix your car, I really do, but please learn from this. You will get so much more help in the future if you can replicate what I just did.
Jeff
Thread title change, post edited for clarity.
Chances are it is your speedometer cable. The speed signal for the automatic transmission also comes from the speedometer (speed sensor is in the speedo). You're going to need to inspect your speedometer cable, there are 3 pieces to it. Find the one...
Perhaps. The ST204 cable I used is a LHD cable, so I'm not sure how easy that will be to get down there. From what I've read/heard though, the RHD ST205 cable works pretty well too, but I didn't have easy access to that here in North America, so I found the LHD ST204 cable to work.
Jeff
Also, in case anyone cares, even though it probably won't come up for most people, if you happen to have a RHD Supra and need a throttle cable that is about 10-inches longer, the 1994-1995 Celica ST204 cable works. This is what we are going to be using with the Hypertune manifold. Part number is...
Well, since it was winter yet again, projects must happen, haha. My brother decided he wanted to build something, so he made a new manifold and changed out to a GT42R instead of the GT35R that was in there.
Building the collector:
Putting it all together into a manifold:
The new GT42R...
Not all A70's had the G, the F was used in some GA70's, but I thought only on N/A models. As far as I know, all 1G-GTE equipped GA70's had the G-series diff.
What model do you have stevo332? I can check and see what's different between the models. :)

My point is, that it doesn't matter what year engine you have. Unless you want to enter a world of pain, you're going to want to get the electronics (ECU/harness/sensor(s)) that match your year of car, and forget about what year the engine is, the year of the engine is of very little importance...
