Had to do this a lot on the old Chevy last weekend... if much torque was applied, most of the bolts just sheared. Smack it nice and quick though, worked a little better. :)

Definitely check your fuel lines, for both size, and kinks. Have you had this problem before? It almost sounds to me like you're running a fuel line that is either damaged (causing a bottleneck), or just too small for the application.

If you're only looking for 400hp at the crank, shit... a VVTI 2j with good exhaust, intake, and intercooler, you're probably going to be pushing upwards of that much at the wheels if you take the time to have the head ported. Wanna talk about low end power... there you go. ;)

I will never condone street racing in an area that has a track within a reasonable distance. My nearest track is 3 hours away, one way. We've all had our fun around here, BUT... there are a few roads around here, where they are two lanes in the same direction, on roads that are RARELY traveled.
