IIRC, I did the body end first, hatch end second. Did them by myself too, but used a different brand. Still work great, even though the shaft got paint on it when the car was painted, so the seals aren't 100% anymore. Still holds the hatch up as long as it's not really cold out. Good luck! ;)...

I went with the 1j in my case because I found a nice motor with transmission for a good price. Never hurts to have an extra r154 around. ;) I knew either engine would make more power than I would ever need... and I'm considering a 2j for the Chevy, so... we'll see. Never actually driven a 2j...

I agree with TrqMnstr, they're good trucks for what they are. Known a couple people who have had them, and while they're certainly not a Benz or something like that, they do good at what you need them for. :)

Honestly, it makes little sense for a business (at least here in the US) to hang onto inventory any longer than necessary. You get taxed on it, every year, just for having it. Not to drag this into a politics debate, but it's actually smarter in the long run to just sell these sorts of things...
