    i would put it closet to the shock tower or maybe closer to the front of the car maybe?... i instaled mine between the valve covers lke you thought of, but it heat soaks... it doesn't seem to affect tuning to much, and as you speed up the air temp drops like the cooler moving air should, but...

    i have fairly the same question. but also have a awsner... if your going to run ross pistons, aren't those lower compression pistons? (8.4:1) if so, then you just converted your n/a into turbo status, minus the oil squiter's, so you will run into detenation stoping you from boosting as high...

    more so the guy who started the thread, but that woul be the first thing i checked, then i would unhook the o2 sensor and force open loop and see what the afr is using my w/b and see what the ecu is doing in the learned vaule charts. like a fail safe. along with pulling the vac line off...

    well this is a bit weird, the afr on the car is going rich, stable, lean, rich stable ,lean.. idle is very erractic. almost die, rev up to 650/800 idle, start dieing idle up, basicly doing what the afr's are doing.. i know i have made proper connections, and im starting to become curious...

    no i couldn't find any wires that broke or came undone, but i did find a ground wire that was scruffed, i cut the blac tap back and it looked like a ground for the sheilded knock sensors..

    well it would look stock so it would pass the visual, and during an emisions run so long as you stay in vaccume like you should, there shouldn't be a problem passing, , the ecu controls fuel in closed loop, to get good emissions..
