    light failure box bypass?

::popcorn:: This might be one of your longer posts I've seen... Not to give the OP too much crap, but JJ makes a good point (I bolded for emphasis) here. It starts simple, but eventually you'll stop caring, and sooner than later, you'll lose interest in the car and sell it off to someone who...

HOW TO: Door Panel Arm Rest Rebuild

Looks very nice Dustin. Makes me curious to see what sort of condition mine are in. I pretty much never use the door itself for an arm rest, due to being a bit short for the car... that and I steer with my left hand, so it probably rests more on the seat or my leg than anything on the door. How...

Driveshaft Decision. I'm torn. Advice from experienced?

The thing that I would be most concerned with is this... 5th gear in our car is a .7x ratio, correct? 11,800 x .7= 8260 (on the lowest end) 11,800 x .79 = 9322 (on the highest end) Now, the word "critical" implies a certain amount of "oh shit" factor to me. In my industry (wire rope and other...

    where can i find wheels

I had a set of 555r's on my car when I bought it. The NT05 I currently have has an even higher level of grip from what I can tell, plus no squishy sidewalls. Little more of a rough ride, but that is to be expected. Now, the NT05r... I'd look into those, especially if you're doing much racing. Or...

BCL GT wings for MKIII interest thread.

How much camber are you running in the rear? Any rubbing? I recently found out that I'm effectively only using about 70% of my contact patch in the rear... need to square off the alignment in the back a little more on mine. :) Your car looks quite nice though.

cigarette lighter probs, a lil help?

You try making sure it is plugged in yet? The light ring is a small plug that attaches to a flat terminal on the edge of the lighter housing, not sure if it is what powers the cig lighter though...

My last and final attempt at ice cold AC...Lots of pictures

Didn't know that was really possible anywhere that people actually lived haha. By the way, 103° in Phoenix this time of year is a rather cool day. Typical to be 115-120° in late August. Good fun, that... Don't really miss that, but what I wouldn't give for their winter temperatures. :p Cy, I...

    Aftermarket bumper that looks good?

Swing up front license plate? What would that be used for? Being technically "legal" where a front plate is required? Agreed, that looks very nice. I have one of these bumpers from Shine, it does look quite nice in person. Looking forward to actually putting all this stuff ON the car haha...

    MKIII Supra Spoilers?

OP, I can dig it, doesn't look bad at all. :) Interesting use of the euro hood scoop from the MkIV if that is what that is...

compound turbo piping and sizes for 7m,1jz,2jz

Certainly another option. Probably easiest in the long run, but IIRC Limequat was having a good bit of fun trying to make one work (tuning wise) on his 4.2L...

    Spotted: Homer Simpson on Craigslist

Holy crap stranger, long time no see. :) Always makes me wonder seeing old names around here... Anyway, I don't think this is Hommer's car. Look at the dash a little more closely, this one looks stock...

    60ft's and MKIII rear ends

No worries man, I get that some people like to keep their cards close, nothing at all wrong with that. :) 35psi out of the hole? Who wants to start taking bets on what will let go first? Seriously though, that would be sweet. That would be the R200, correct? IIRC, it is an 8" diff...

Went to the drag strip for the first time ever, put down some crappy times, advice?

Cooleze made a nice metal pipe set for our cars, I had them on my car when it was a 7m car. Looks nice, just a plain aluminized steel, no bling, just what you need. :)

Airflow at X psi elevation difference?

Well if we start bringing 1/4 mile times into this, I'm pretty sure people are already saying that. ;) :p Boiled down to its most simplistic, 100% correct. This is why my car can hang with modded v8's for the most part. :)

sun roof deflector problems. need suggestions,..thanks!1

Isn't that what those funny looking little "bubbles" are that stick onto the roof just in front of the sunroof panel? As long as it is wider than the panel itself, I would think it would offer good protection as a buffer... just make sure you center it or it will look a bit off. ;)

    2jz swap turbo questions

Hitting 550 on Albert's twin setup... I'll be honest, if it is possible, he would have to be the one to fill you in there. I'd be highly impressed, but I don't see it being out of the realm of possibility at the peak output of the engine. Plus, you would retain good low/mid range too. I...

Have you checked your fuel line to the tank? Albert had an issue with a kinked line that caused similar symptoms.

    Found a Supra on craigs

Pretty sure it was meant for laughs anyway Andy. ;) Was it that twit that lives out in Scottsdale? Wouldn't be surprised in the least... think his name was Pat, or something like that.
