sun > hot interiors... electric tint?

I mean like a display on a calculator. its completely transparent except when voltage is applied, then sections turn black.. that's liquid crystal I believe, it's just not backlit and much less complex than say a LCD monitor.

sun > hot interiors... electric tint?

LCD tint.. LED's produce light. I have read of newer cars having sunroofs that are tinted, and when you flick a switch it applies voltage to the glass and it turns clear. For a windshield you would want the opposite, clear without voltage and dark with voltage, otherwise you would run the risk...

sun > hot interiors... electric tint?

Cars tend to act like greenhouses during the summer, to the point where I can't hold on to the steering wheel. Sometimes I have to park out in the sun someplace where I can't leave the windows open (and give people access to the inside.) It seems like a big waste of energy to counteract that...

How do you guys do your burnouts?

I do those burnouts dirty... I sell them herbs from the grociery store that look like pot, and if they give me any trouble afterwards I slap 'em up.

How many MPG do you get on your supra?

Sorry, "less power potential" means less chemical energy in a given volume of fuel. The higher octane fuel is safer though (less likely to detonate,) so people can run more boost, burn MORE fuel, and make more power, even though the fuel is slightly 'weaker'.

How many MPG do you get on your supra?

Higher octane actually means the gas burns slower and has less power potential.

Some stuff I found on slashdot that I thought would interest people here. http://www.techreview.com/printer_friendly_article.aspx?id=16963 Dramatically cheaper Titanium sounds like dramatically cheaper titanium engine parts to me. Ti rods anyone...

JT2MA71's Build. Dyno video on post # 1191

Is there more clearance under the block now, with the dry sump and the new pan? I'm just wondering if you could lower the center of gravity and if you've considered it.

    Where's the MAF PRO Buzz

No it's not. The MAFT Pro is a piggy back, right? It just fakes the KV signal. The stock ECU adjusts the fuel as it pleases based on O2 readout, it can make its own adjustments to put fuel back closer to stock. If you keep using a piggyback to get the AFR back to the way you want it via KV...

    Look at this

looks better than my rusty shell with no motor, no gas tank, screwed up interior, nail polish for paint. It won't when I'm done though.. I don't think it's tasteless, but not my thing, especially the neons.

    The $2145.00 lesson!

Obviously, but TRAFFIC laws don't apply to someones backyard. I can do donuts on my personal property all I want, drive my car into trees, etc, as long as I don't break anything non-traffic like noise laws. To the poster: I don't know the specifics of the law there, or here. They can...
