So on my way home tonight it's a cold night mind you and usually the car feels like a beast straining the leash and this guy in a modded MazdaSpeed 3 wanted to run me, so we do a 40 or 50 roll and as I gun it the boost builds but when I am at full tilt it feels like the boost or turbo is...
If the EGR cooler at the back of the head is leaking it would sound and smell like an exhaust leak right? I've been going ape shit with an exhaust leak I have I tore down my exhaust side, drilled, and tapped new coarse threads for the studs with the DM kit and put it all back together with new...
Yea my friend's is an AWD VR4 they are about the same weight but they have more hp. Really sucks how Toyota didn't squeeze more power out of the 7M while everyone else was getting 280-300hp from their motors.
Don't have pics or videos but on the way home a friend and I had some fun me vs his 3000GT the 90s sports car battle. He has a little more mods than I do and AWD advantage but the mighty poopra hung onto his coat tails surprisingly well considering I still have a damn exhaust leak that won't go...
I fear the reason why I may still have an exhaust leak after changing the exhaust studs with the DM kit and the gasket is that my manifold may be warped. Are there any good upgraded manifolds for the stock CT26 turbo?
I do need to change my rear speakers but do they even make 3.5" speakers anymore? I also need to replace my tail light gaskets because water gets in. I'll get two birds stoned at once and change the gaskets and lifts.
Oh trust me any MK3 owner knows how heavy that damn hatch is lol I understand that they are strongly mounted but surely there is an easier way to mount it without losing strength.
The only thing that rattles is my trunk and steering column cover because I tightened it a little too much I guess and half of the threaded part broke so it's not tight and rattles over bumps and such. Drives me insane but for a 20 year old car and those are the only rattles and squeaks is not...
That is retarded lol you have to basically remove the back half of the car just for the struts. I'll attempt to tackle that beast soon to install my Strongarm struts. Thanks for the help.
it really is that's why it is taking me so long to fix the accord lol. The Supra is MUCH more comfortable, better to drive, AC actually works, the steering doesn't feel like it is made out of wood, and the seats don't hurt my back in 10 minutes. Just can't beat cars made from the 90s.
My ABS light came on before it did at idle I felt a weird sort of vibration until I increased the revs a bit it went away but after I started driving it went away completely and then the ABS light came on like 10min afterwards. Brakes still feel fine but any ideas on how to go about this?
