if you can actually feel a knock on the pan and its NOT from the BROKEN motor mount or something else, dropping the pan while its on the car is not going to do you any good.
You'll most likely find you need to open up two of the manifold bolt holes unless your threads are perfectly strait....
also you may have to cut a coil off the helicoil with the 7/16's stud, i couldnt get my tap in far enough to get the full 7 or how ever many threads the coil has...

theres a start, i would set the timing at 10 degrees like its supposed to be until you get it running good...

sad to say it but im just going to touch up the caps with a scotchbrite pad (for now), a GOOD head is like a needle in a hay stack....
you guys have stock afm's with border line fc boost settings and its getting colder and colder (assuming because its cold in tx), fc levels sound right.

guess thats good then, my exhaust cam is fucked though. the cam took a beating from the loose cap. pretty decent grooves in it.
