Stay away from the SP61GT. They are quite problematic. the JT61GT is the
same thing as an SP61GT, but with a better exhaust wheel, better ehxuast
housing, better oil feed and cooling lines, better wastegate. I have sent two
out, and I'm sure customers will chime in in the next few weeks on...
I'm also going to be doing a shift kit and a higher stall toque converter as soon
as I can find one that will work, as well as TH350 conversion kits! (and maybe
a 700R4 kit too.
Jeff
JT56 is your friend for 400rwhp. The tranny cooler is $250, but has all
AN fittings, lines, etc. The price is just tentative, I'm still working on it.

Sounds like the turbo wasn't primed correctly, which is also the #1 cause of
turbo failure. Stop running the car and take the turbo off. MDC's warranty
doesn't cover oil starvation (which is easily checked to see if that was the
problem), but even if you DID starve and it's not under warranty...
Sounds like a wiring problem. Make sure you give it a GOOD ground.
A dead sensor would be dead 100% of the time, I don't think it's that
maybe your AIT is getting heat soaked when the car is let sit for a while?
What happened to you friend who had a VPC running perfectly, since he
is local...
If you can hear the pump soundly at idle, it's bad.
when you put your blinkers on, at idle, and can hear the pump
wee woo wee woo wee woo
It's bad.
Jeff
JT62 And the mods to support it, and drag radials, and you should be in the
mid 11s. The JT62 makes 500+rwhp, and with 425rwhp I've seen people hit
12.10 so 75 more HP should get you deep into the 11s.
Jeff
the 56 lightning is a .57 trim, and I say it makes 350-400rwhp And it uses the
same exhaust housing as the BOSS (it says BOSS series made by LIPP).
Jeff
The JT70 is a true 70MM compressor with a P-Trim exhaust houing, that is
a true bolt on.
PM me your phone number if you want me to contact you regardin turbos
I'll answer any questions you might have.
