    odd Coolant system symptoms

alright well the hose leading from the overflow cap (inside tube) was loose fitting. Replaced all the lines and the rad cap. No more bubbles in the overflow tank however my overflow level still rises to about 2/3-3/4 of the canisters capacity after some heavy boosting and half hour of stop and...

    Possible fuel problems

unplugging the afm puts it into fail safe mode. It should run decent with no boost and nothing over 3000rpms iirc. When my afm went bad the only way to get it to start was to unplug it.

Fuel Pump for MKIII with 1JZ

given IJ's reputation for above and beyond, his pump could probably fuel a semi... :D (not a walbro) i wasnt aware the motor had anything to do with the pump, other then power levels and how much fuel you might need to stay safe?

    benefits to electric fans?

Any electric fan worth relying on is going to put a beating on an 80amp alternator for DD use. DO NOT cheap out on this. That includes the wiring and relays/fuses.

    odd Coolant system symptoms

Ive been watching my coolant res. closely to try and gauge a "norm" but its not adding up to my limited knowledge. The res. level never rises much when i drive "normally" which is only a few psi when accelerating, ac on, stop and go traffic, cruising on the highway. basically anything except...

Loud Ticking noise from front of engine

pulling the bottom cover off wont really tell you much at all in relation to your issue. Save yourself the hassle and block test the cooling system to be sure as well as verify mechanical timing is still lined up (cams and crank like Jdub mentioned). Check the Tq on the crank pulley and you...
