Agreed. Such a pain trying to hit 177ft-lbs on those front cam bolts lying on your side with no room to maneuver.

Reynald, thanks for the info. Did you get the reprogramming kit or the shift kit? Also, if I read it correctly, you can choose street, strip, or truck flavors. Which one did you install?

I suggest you monitor cranking voltage (at coil B+). On another car (more modern) the cars ECUs were going crazy and setting all sorts of weird codes that could not be traced to any fault. Turned out the battery had a bad cell and was dipping below 8V during cranking, causing the ECUs to reset...

Hit and miss for me with Rockauto parts. I bought some tie rod ends and they came unpainted, turned orange in a week from rust, and then the boots split open in a year (moog brand). Brake parts were okay. Just have to be careful. Went back to Toyota for suspension parts.

Get a helper to feather throttle to keep it running.

You have to set timing with a timing light with TE1 jumpered! If you haven't done that basic step then forget about everything else.
