emanage vs. map ecu vs. s-afcII

Stay tuned [no pun intended]... There is a new e-manage coming out.. a Pro version of sorts, that I believe is supposed to allow for more controlss and a much wider range of adjustments.

    Lamarossa in the 05 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE tell me that you have PVC hardpipes. I'll die laughing if you don't. It's one of the only GOOD things you can get for your car's performance at a home improvement store. That would be the ultimate bass-ackwards thing I've heard of - having Home Depot "upgrades" all over your car, but HKS...

    2JZ turbos onto the 7mgte?

A 2JZ with stock twins does not pose a real fitment issue - there are several people who run them in their MkIII. There is only one spot on the back firewall that needs a love tap with a mini sledge. It's not so much a side-side fitment issue; it's a front-rear issue. A 7M head/block is...

They do things differently in the Air Force

Even if I was single, I couldn't screw a woman in the military. You just KNOW you are getting, like, "sloppy 25ths" [as opposed to sloppy seconds]. :barf: I'd rather :wuteva: :arcadefre and avoid STDs.

    2JZ turbos onto the 7mgte?

I was thinking about this a little bit, and it sounds feasible that with an AEM it might be possible with the extra I/O wires to have some sort of way to trigger an actuator/VSV that would bring the second turbo online at, and remain online after a specified rpm.. Of course, this is just...

Question about seat swaps. MKIV --> MKIII

My leather was thrashed, so I bought some all black Sparco Torino replicas in faux leather for cheap. They are very comfortable and the only issue I need to address is adapting them to the stock MkIII seat brackets. I plan to do this with a grinder [to grind the pieces of metal that ascend...

10 PSI ATE my new stock clutch

Good.. do it yourself. You will save money. When I didn't know jack about this car, my boost controller helped eat my clutch. 11.5 psi in 3rd and at about 4000rpms WOT it would decellerate, but the RPMs would shoot up. Cost more for labor at the local Toyota dealer than it did for a TRD clutch...

    Music Thread.

Every heard songs like "Talk Tonight" where Noel sings instead of Liam? He has a much better voice, IMO. Not a huge Oasis fan, but I was at one point [around '96 - high school days]. I still LIKE them - it's just I like SO many other bands, they kinda get buried on my list way too deep to surface.

Anyone remember the center console replica?

It would be cool to get something like that done - you could make whatever size holes desired to mount "odd sized" electronics perfectly, wherever you want. That would be awesome to see how your body panels come out. Might be a way to help shave a little weight from our beasts while retaining...

    how much nitrous?

You don't need nitrous with a Supra.. and even if you FEEL that you need it, using a "small shot" [50< but <100 shot] is all you should venture, and you need to make sure that you DO get a "smart" system. Hell, the guys with larger turbos only use a 50-75 shot just to help them get spooled...

    Music Thread.

I if I have to name bands, I enjoy Disturbed, Powerman 5000, Professional Murder music, Tool and A Perfect Circle most, I think.. but I usually just mix up some MP3's, put 'em on a couple CDs and that keeps me happy for a few months. A few tracks in the electronica genre always seems to make it...

    Selections..

I was going to buy the kit, then probably get a mid-pipe from either horsepowerfreaks or boostlogic.. then install the down/midpipe to see where it ends, and have it tweaked from there. Maybe measure where it ends on the underside of the MkIII chassis and mark it with chalk, measure how the...

It's gonna be SLO~W going on the updates. They will probably go month by month. I hope to have the swap done and running by next spring.. hopefully earlier. At that point, it will be BPU with a + or more. It won't be until a year or so after that is done that I will hopefully have enough saved...

The advantage of a big turbo with decent spool is that you don't have to always floor it. Most of the time around town you'll be pulling vacuum, unless you need to punch it. Daily driving around town, all of those horses aren't going to be used, and if you don't know how to control more...
