If you had the money...(exterior mods)

Everything I want, I will be doing. I want the Greddy/Trust front bumper to put my Turbo A-Duct in, a Bomex UAD-071 lip, a Kaminari rear bumper and MAYBE a whale-tail. I haven't decided on that. I am thinking that exterior paint may be blue or black, but the interior will be black, blue and...

Damn, that reminds me: make custom fan-mount for laptop. I don't want mine to fry when in the car, either! I plan to make a slide-tray, or quick-dismount rails for the laptop in the glove compartment. I have relocated my lighter to the glove compartment area, since nobody is allowed to even SAY...

felt gay until i found out why....

Yeah.. he raced a civic hatchback that has a supercharged V-8 in the hatch area. Seen that before. I've also seen a twin-engine Tiburon. One up front, one in the hatch, both running meth.

..because it's a "Toyota"..? I think it has to do with Toyota's reliability and reputation for excellence, image, features, and marketing - they are all appealing to the young crowd. I have to admit, the sunroof is very cool. I mean, it's not a TARGA or anything, but still cool. If the car was...

This is What I look like.

Congrats on making Staff - you're right there with me, but I'm not a SP/SF troop. I am at Hurlburt Field - and we probably don't deploy to the same spot, though we can't really discuss that here anyways.

I don't know, guys. I love the MkIII. Seriously, my favorite "mixed" MkIIIs are usually '89s that have been fixed up. I can't decide if I like the 89< or the 89+ front more, but the 89+ looks better with an A-duct. The 1-piece wing looks decent enough, but I like the 3-piece more. I like the...

That's definitely a good idea.. getting sheet metal to cut tabs and strips of metal with some "tin snips", then bend and drill 'em, and mark on your intercooler where you want them welded. I just had that idea a month ago, and just one week ago, someone threw away the perfect thickness piece of...

    progress of my car

Okay. :D I just didn't want to see anyone's MkIII get "blow'd up". I love these cars. I just thought that decell would be safe, but cruising still would put enough load on the engine to matter at that AFR. How's 'bout this: Make sure you have wideband and a bad-ass pyrometer if you don't already?

17.0:1? Won't you blow something going that high above stoich? Most of the high hp guys, during power runs, run rich - about 11.8:1, and "perfect" stoichometeric measurement is 14.7:1. Above that is supposed to be lean. At 17, wouldn't your EGTs be skyrocketing?

Gotta look out for those. Whenever someone in-processes here, part of our commander's briefing includes a little something about used car lots off base. Apparently there were people who were tricked into buying cars at 20%-30% APR. Insane.

I wouldn't go so far as to call 87-88 Supras "Shit Supras". I didn't like the sawblades or the front bumper fascia, or the headlight squirters. The older taillights and 1-piece wing kinda sucked, too, but I DO like the old red rectangular Supra emblem. They ARE cheaper, and more likely to be...

    1.5 JZ displacement?

DUDE! What are you talking about? All you have to do is swap out the shortblock. Why spend the money on a USED, worn out 2JZ for $2k when you can pay $500 or more and have a BRAND NEW 2JZ shortblock from Toyota, shipping included? Sure, you would get some other goodies, but why buy more than you...
