I was going to get solid or semi-solid mounts and an engine brace that would terminate at the strut tower. I already have a strut tower brace, so I think that all of these things together would really do a good job.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen a genuine 7M/MA70 engine brace. Gotta go custom...
I might try it. I dunno.. if it's cheap, I guess I could get an EBay one, and sell it to take a little hit on price if it doesn't work. I'll take a look to see how "cheap" they are.
That would definitely be cool. I know that the W58s and R154s are all supposed to have the same shifters - the SSS shifter is supposed to be able to be used in MkII, MkIII and MkIV[NA] model Supras.
"That's it. This is it. I'm done. Through. It's over. I'm gone. Finished. Over. I will never work for you again. Look at you. You think you're an important man? Is that what you think? You are a laughingstock. You are a joke. These people are laughing at you. You're nothing! You have no brains...
"North Dakota Air National Guard's 119th Fighter Wing, known as the Happy Hooligans, say their radio frequencies were cluttered with orders and chatter. At one point, one of the pilots thought he heard the Secret Service say 'Protect the House' - presumably the White House."
That's funny as...
..if you CAN though, might wanna opt to get the whole chassis for the GT-Four. You will then have the 3S-GTE and have a good chance you can easily strip your current drivetrain in favor for a bolt-in AWD conversion.
JZ swapped guy?
If you have a decent amount of power or you are looking to eventually make more, or if you run in the heat or autocross, I'd probably recommend the Koyo race rad for the JZA70.
The hard part is NOT over. NCO responsibilities are no cake walk. I WISH I could go back to the days when I was an Airman. Particularly, a Senior Airman. The point when I re-enlisted, I was the ranking Senior Airman in my shop, with the most experience - I had alot of responsibility and was a...
Dude.. just see if a company like Jarco [reputed for complete swaps PLUS all the goodies from the donor car] can import a front clip from a ST205 Celica GT-Four from Japan and MAKE SURE that they include all of the AWD drivetrain, hubs and suspension.
Then you can convert your wussy FWD Celica...
No, the 6-speed on the 7M is not feasible. The bellhousing bolt pattern would be incorrect, as would be the flywheel to crank bolts [7M crank=6-bolt pattern, JZ crank=8-bolt pattern]
The 1JZ and 2JZ blocks have the same bolt pattern for the bellhousing, so the 6-speed could be used on a JZ...
Alright - you want to use a 2JZ-GTE's A340E on a 7M-GTE, to replace the 7M's auto tranny [to hold more power, better?]?
The bellhousings should be the same - those will swap over. I am pretty sure you will do a partial disassembly of both transmissions and swap a few parts over.
This will...
I see a good theory about the solid and semi-solid mounts, but no proof.
Let's find some guys with higher horse/torque figures and see what their experiences are, then see if any can inspect their cars and see if they can see any signs of wear or twisting. The chances are that most of the...
Dude, even running an open STOCK downpipe and cranking the boost to 11psi, you will scare the sh!t out of any Honda owner. It will be louder than any of their fart cans, but it will sound better and meaner. When the boost hits for the first time that you experiment with this.. well, let's just...
