I was wondering how well the R154 takes abuse. I've read somewhere that these trannies are bulletproof to the end. Has anybody ever blown this tranny?
I went to the track a couple of days ago and missed third gear alot. For some reason it feels wierd throwing it at high rpms. Its my first...
Does anybody have the flow characteristics (sp?) of both a FFIM and the stock manifold. I remember reading it before and our stock manifold did flow better.
So I guess our stock manifold is good because of its equal flow, but on the down side it takes more piping to route it and pressurize...
I didn't get the alignment done yet because I've been working so damn much. I was running 27psi in the back tires. And I think i would of broke 15 seconds but after so many third geat misses I kinda had to baby it going into third.
My last run was with a v8 mustang, sounded like he had basic...
Went to the track for the first time ever. I realy didn't want to go, but I was interested what the car would do before I start modding. The car is stock besides a intake and shock/springs.

Does anybody run irdium plugs? How do you like them? what are the ups and downs about them besides the price.
what plugs should we stay away from?
And what kinda gap...

Electric fans are a realy good investment because they take drag off the motor and by using a fan controller could adjust the setting where the fans kick in. Faster warm ups and could leave them on without the motor running. If you get Fal fans you could get the fan controller for only like $20.

All you need to do is hook it up to the number 1 Plug wire and hook it up to the battery. Power and ground. And point it at the crank to see your...
Beck/arnley would be your best choice for parts.Thats what i get from my parts warehouse. Its good to have a hook up on parts. And for removing the master its not that hard its just a pain in the ass.
I like it because alot of mk4 owners walk around with there nose in the air and don't realize that we are actually the bigger brother and without us there wouldn't be a mk4.
