couple of little things with the ga70-7mgte swap

Sounds really dumb, but... clogged fuel filter? I was going to suggest vacuum lines or a VSV for some of your other problems, and also to check timing, and to make sure the knock sensors are good, and torqued down correctly. SupraGirl, I have to say that you whoop ass. A lot of the...

    480 hp, 456 tq, BIC twin gt28r turbo's

Hey, that 28R is the one they call the "Disco Potato", right? I've heard good things about that particular turbocharger - very popular with the Silvia crowd. It comes stock as the single on the S15, doesn't it? I hope those two do you well. That's really cool - since the bore is the same, it...

    480 hp, 456 tq, BIC twin gt28r turbo's

Now I am wondering, just how much hp/tq are those twins good for? Kits out there for the 1JZ always seem to have a single turbocharger, which I believe is the wrong setup for the 1JZ. The 1JZ needs twins running in parallel and a horsepower goal that allows it to get into and take advantage of...

How old were you when you got your first Supra?

Elvis - though Cartman was funny. Also, there is an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where he is singing that song while downstairs sweeping up on a Christmas morning. Very good, very catchy song.

    Rednecks

How about "buy a boost controller"? Seriously, it's not HOW MANY washers you use for shimming the wastegate - it's the THICKNESS of the washers you use. This is why you need a boost gauge - because Jim-Bob Supra owner across town says "Yeah, just use seven washers and you will have like...

How old were you when you got your first Supra?

Just hearing about the crisp autumn afternoon in September reminded me of that line. That and getting your first Supra - like a baby, whether it's you or the car.

Maybe this says something about most Supra owners. Maybe it says we're "hit it and forget it" types of people.

    Any Staind fans???

Is Aaron Lewis still singing about how much pain he's in, and how much the world has forsaken him? If so, I'll stay tuned out. I bought two of their albums, enjoyed them a little, and then fell out of it. It just seems like it's the same old repetitive thing we're hearing today. In the 80's...

Here's a pretty good one. I wish that it came out lighter and it wasn't cut off, though. It also doesn't show off the red hair and blue eyes.

    w58 + 7mgte in ma70.....whats needed....

You guys.. you are talking about the W58 from a MkIII Supra.. not a MkIV NA's W58. The reason that the MkIV NA cannot use the same short shifter as the MkII and MkIII's is because it shifts different than these other ones - it's cable shifted, where the others are direct linkage.

Sorta a supra question.... Cressida question

One option you may want to look out for is asking the Australians if any of them have done this. I believe you could find this out on the Australian Toymods forum. Who knows.. maybe there is a tranny or driveshaft that is perfect for this, and we just don't know because we don't have access to...
