I think it's around 36 inches, check Ron's thread, i remember seeing it somewhere in there but I don't recall the actual lenght, but it should be close to 36".
Sorry about that, didn't even think to look at what body the engine was in. Like I said earlier, it's all in the person's opinion of the engine management product you buy. If tuned correctly, and this is the key phrase, any of the management units will keep your A/R's from going lean, but for...
If your goal is consistant 12's then the MAFT Pro should be just right. With our cars it doesn't take that much to get into 12's. Most ppl with modded supras running 13's could make 12's if they could figure out how to launch the car correctly, but all of this rant is on several other threads...
There aren't that many people out there running the e-manage ultimate yet. I do believe that theoretically, it can eliminate your afm, but i'm not sure. I do know that there are bunches of ppl on here running the MAFT Pro and are having great success with it. There is one member on here (I don't...
That's exactly what I do. Working two jobs lets me spend around 400-500 a month on the supra (will be selling my 3G and buying a metro and I will be saving an additional 350-400 a month on top of that!).
Ditto, if you're around 350-375 getting a new intercooler should put you close if now above 400. The reason being most any aftermarket intercooler you get will have less of a pressure drop than the stock one, i.e. more psi and cooler air to boot= more power.
Too bad none of those pictures of the manifold are on a supra. From what I see most are installed on RB engines. IDK the details of the other ebay brand manifolds, but if this one says it's made with thicker metal and offers a lifetime warranty, go for it. It surely beats paying big $$$$ for a...
Those rims look good (gives me some ideas as my supra is the same color as yours... ;) ). I want something with a little bit of a lip up front and a big fat one in the back, but with a spoke design very similar to what you have.
Ah Ha! I finally found that bitch, here you go http://www.mdcmotorsports.com/welcome_to_the_supra.htm It's on down towards the bottom and doesn't have an actual picture, but it says it's for the R154. Let us know if you decide to buy from them as I will be buying new synchros for my rebuild too.
This is the only thing I could find using yahoo real quick as I've got to be heading off to work. http://www.drivetrain.com/toyotaR150rwd.html It mentions the tranny being r150, you may want to contact them and confirm. It really pisses me off that I can't find which website I had seen the...
What I meant was buy a new one and return the old one using the new one's warranty. Just make sure it's a different seller than the one you first contacted...
Plug wires sound good (how old are they?). Don't forget to tighten down the studs/bolts after it's had a good heat cycle (assuming the bolts/studs are new). Have you checked vacume lines or anything that could have been left unistalled after the head gasket job?
I would just like to confirm something about these pistons. My friend is thinking about using these in his rebuild as they are pretty much the cheapest pistons out there that come in overbores. What were the horsepower numbers and general mods of the ppl running these pistons that you know? What...
