I don't why your sensor for that is on top, it should be on the bottom as pictured in the other posts. Mine is also on the bottom, it shouldn't hurt anything having it on top right?
I think the person that did this car up should be bitch smacked. I also feel the same for the person who bought the car, he should be bitch smacked if he doesn't redo everything on it.
I put those bosch platinum 4's in and old car of mine one time, will never buy bosch again. Their design is pretty wack. If you've ever looked at one of the 4 series theres very little room for fuel to get close to the spark, too much in the way.
I believe those aren't made anymore correct? They are kinda hard to get a hold of and I wouldn't trust buying an old used one for the price most ppl want for thiers.
I believe the SOGI mod would work for the NA also correct? You would save lots of $$$ doing it this way, that's what I'll be doing. I've had B&M in two different cars, installed them myself, and they do feel notchy, but that's what I like. This time though, I'm going SOGI and putting my money...
I've got a hardtop and love the way it handles compared to my cousin's targa. Then again, I like the look of the soup w/out a top on it and the extra engine noise and the feeling of openness. Bad part is the handling of the car without the top on. It's a love/hate thing when it's comes to the ht...
I agree about the cowl on that hood being too much. Maybe around .5"-1.0" shorter would be about right. And if you fab up a good fitting functional undercover that was close to the stock one I would be down to buy one from you stat.
Wow, I wish my driveway looked like that, I would be in heaven, though some other ppl would hate me for having that many supras. You know what? Screw them I say.
Back in the 90's Hanes (underware co.) made a late night comerciial with the same tune and similar lyrics...I wonder why they only played it at late nights?:dunno: It goes something like this:
Do your boys hang low?
Do they wobble too and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them...
*Raises hand* me and my cousin (practically live in the same house) have two between us, I wouldn't mind having a third as a 1j project. Mine is '88 turbo hardtop 5 spd, his is '87 turbo targa 5 spd.
Just as drjonez said, gap new plugs to spec every time. Do not trust the manufacturer to have these plugs gapped for our cars as some spark plugs are made for other cars also.
BTW, do you think there will be another group buy on this any time soon? I missed this one because I wasn't a member when this was going one but I'm really interested in owning a set for my '88t w/grey mats and silver stitching on the logo and in 32oz. Please let me know...
Edit: I finally...
LOL, I actually have a set of these for my 3G that was custom made from someone off of ebay. They're expensive and don't fit very well, they pretty much just got the overal shape of the factory's cut out, but the needed to be bent a little and trimmed here and there. Overal, they start looking...
I believe the reason the hood looks a little green is due to the reflextion of the little tree and is leaves beside the supra, if you look close you can see it in the reflextion on the hood. Both cars look great BTW, I'd love to have either... Or both, just not the payments ;).
