There really isn't that much difference.. maybe 50 lbs..
If weight is that big of a deal, a 4cyl liek a 3sgte or even Aluminum sr would be a better choice.. hell a LS1 is even better..
But doesn't mean the 1j is better then the 2j (performance), just that its a better option for your goals...
If the front is blown 300-400 probably.. Itll cost like 50-100 a corner to get the shocks rebuild iirc.. Also tein HAs use the stock Hats, so are similar to tein SS's new @ ~950 or so.. so even 400+400 for rebuilt shocks is cheaper then new ss's.. should be able to sell them then I'd say..
for sure, lol but i have everyone fooled.. hopfully I'll sell this 87 soon so I can get both my 91s painted and be blinging :)
yea shortcuts always bite you in the ass later..
in any chassis the 2j is better.. its a 3L 1j pretty much.. more displacment = more power.. The 1j is still an awesome engine.. I loved my 1j when I had it.. it rode out.. it was a fun ride.. just upgrading it some more (.5L)...
Its like having a 50" tv.. its damn good.. but the 60 is a...
front will be almost flush.. will need a fender roll.... rears will sit in.. like TT wheels on a mk3.. will need a spacer to make it look better like 15mm
fwiw my front is a 8 +32 \/ mine rubbed with the roll
I like the tan over the grey.. they grey is a weird grey color.. I dont like it..
A local guy is selling a black/black 1j swapped sc.. seats wern't all tore up, they were in good condition to my supprizes.. look original and with 160k... too bad i dont have 10k... would be a dope dd..
