As stated in your rebuild thread, I love the idea that you've done. I will probably be stealling that idea if you don't mind (keeps them little bastards from trying to steal you gas ;)).
Check your boost gauge, it should be all the way down in the negative range at idle, it's best to check with an aftermarket gauge. IIRC you should be pulling around 21 hg/in (or whatever it's called) at idle.
Blown head gasket symptoms are: Rising and or unsteady coolant temps, "waterfall" noises behind the dash, loss of coolant without any indication where it went, and "milkshake" look under the oil cap and dipstick, sweet smelling exhaust, and sudden loss of power.
If it isn't, jack up the front of your car really high, almost to where your muffler is touching the ground. turn your car on and let it run until it's warmed up, then burp the air out through the radiator cap. BTW, is the temps getting hot? Did you just recently drive it hard? Check all of your...
That's the best way to go about it IMO. I've also got two other DD's, so when I work on my supra, I take my time with it to make sure things are done right ;).
