Ok so my stock ct26 has some damaged compressor fins so instead of getting a new one I've decided to go a little bigger. I was looking at going t3 or t3/t4 possibly. Want to push 12-15lbs and my price range is 300 and under. So most likely it will be used, but wondering what turbo you think...
Does anybody know the build where a ffim was just a 7m intake manifold with a 90 degree bend on it with piping to a front mount with inlet on opposite sides? Ive seen it before and tried looking through the build thread and cant seem to find it again. Thanks.
yeah i think it was a boost leak i took out the pipe to reach my turbo to check shaft play and put it back in and made sure i tightened everything down. i think i might not have tightened a coupler all the way so it doesnt do it anymore now that i made sure it was tightened.
the hardest part is getting the pipe in the right place on the black coupler because if it is too far in the coupler the red one doesnt go on all the way but if its too far out the hood doesnt close so you have to get it in between to have both fit and the hood close
