It's not just the money, it's annoying and wasteful. If I'm shuffling around turbos the sheer quantity of coolant you go through really starts adding up...
Well thanks for the tips guys, hopefully this time around changing my turbo I won't have to empty my whole Koyo radiator...that's a lot of coolant that's just about new since I last had the turbo off...:icon_conf
Is it possible? The TSRM says you have to, but is there a way to just "block off" the coolant passages to the turbo instead of having to drain the whole radiator before removing the coolant lines?

I love the site but I have one complaint. I have a 22" monitor with a 1680x1050 resolution, and whole site doesn't even fill my monitor top to bottom. I feel like I'm wasting TONS of screen space. Is there any chance of some sort of "autosize" feature that'll at least fill my monitor vertically...
Well, genuinely my power goals I'd put at 400hp while not having to deal with the (crappy) reliability of an upgraded CT-26, but I'm a college student and I know better, so for now I'm thinking I will stick with a stock CT, hopefully that one posted earlier in the thread...
Hello all, I don't post often but I have something of a dilemma right now. I just got my entire engine rebuilt and working perfectly, and just two weeks after the rebuild was done, my turbo has started smoking on me.
This is especially frustrating because I had my turbo rebuilt about a year ago...
