does the car start every time and run fine?

mine does the same thing. has for years. i thought something was wrong also. someone mentioned that the r154 shifts as if you were trying to stir coal with a spoon. not saying there is nothing wrong, but mine is still good.

i got rid of my egr stuff a couple years ago. charcoal can as well. car still runs great. my .02

check your valve covers, they might be loose.

agreed. the eibachs are the only aftermarket spring that will not void a factory warranty. (ford's anyway) plus, i don't think stiffer suspension will make a steering wheel vibrate back and forth. i could be wrong though.

imo, i think a three inch exhaust, is a three inch exhaust. no matter the brand, or the price. i use a three inch mandrel bent pipe, no cats, and a no name straight through three inch muffler, and i love the sound. it's quiet at idle, but sounds good good while cruising, but screams at WOT...

so, what next? it sounds like i need to check to make sure i have a 12v power source going to each component. am i on the right track? if i don't, well, problem solved, right? if i do, then what?

you had to ask. i just removed my dash following the link i sent you step by step with pictures. i had planned on doing a detailed step by step, but someone needed help last week with the two 17mm nuts holding up the steering wheel, and i couldn't find the pictures. i'm still pissed about...

what sounds good to you? loud and whiny, loud and rumbly, quiet yet deep, quiet until you go WOT? how much do you want to spend? do you have a dp or an aftermarket elbow?

mine is getting loose too. i just never got around to doing anything about it. but now that i know it could fly off, you bet i'm gonna fix it tomorrow. thanks for the link drew.
