They still have almost every part for our cars. Some of you guys kill me when you say they dont have stuff...
The car audio terminals look great, IMO. And if you plan on doing any add-on's that will require you to tap battery power, they will look ten times better than trying to add it onto a regular terminal.

Cool one from Monster:
And Fosgate:
Pretty much my thoughts. I feel for ya, Laura. Financial troubles blow. I've always had my parents to help bail me out in case of financial mishaps, normally due to car repairs and such.(They're not exactly wealthy, just too damn nice) I can't imagine what I'd do if I didn't have that to fall...
No problems here. :)
I love Taco Bell. I think I've got a pretty strong stomach though, cuz I never get food poisoning or the runs from any type of food. :dunno:
Didn't see this post until right now. How did your repair go? Are there any huge gaps in my writeup? I'd love some feedback because the whole goal of this writeup was to assist others. :) IIRC, you've already had some experience with this sort of thing though, right?
I just had to unplug a...
The lengths of the wires should be a good indicator as they are all progressively longer or shorter, pending where you start. I believe the TSRM also tells you what goes where. ;)
Even the 180 for a resurfacing of the head surface seems a little bit high, but what do I know. :dunno:
I paid 135 for my shop to resurface/clean head and replace valve stem seals. They quoted me 135, and that is exactly what I paid.
I'd be upset if a shop quoted me and then charged me double...
I think 30-20% looks just fine and allows you to see well at night. My g/f had 30 all around on her last car and it was perfectly fine at night.
I will be getting either 30 or 15 shortly. The legal limit is 27% here, so 30 would be legal, 15 would not.
What was/is the oil level like?
I always ask this question and NOBODY answers. I am curious as to how often anyone gets rod knock with proper oil levels. So far, I have only heard of a few isolated incidents, most of which were due to extreme lateral accelerations conceivably moving oil away...
I simply bolted it right up. I bought mine second hand from CRE, who apparently got the one for the mr2. I was unaware. :D
Mine required no extra work at all, unless CRE had already prepped it. :dunno:
It did include a few mounting brackets that are not even close to fitting in any way...
FWIW, I dont really think my Apexi intake has increased performance as it gets rid of the "cold air intake" feature that the stock box provides, but it doesn't seem to hurt it and it sounds quite nice. :)
I'd like to buy/commission/make some sort of cold air partition for the filter while...
Yes sir, yet another Cali car for me! Tags haven't been updated since 2006!
I'll be removing the cali plates and replacing them with some good 'ole Colorado ones this week if insurance goes through. :)
UPDATE!!!
It was the freakin' t-stat housing gasket area the whole time. The rtv I used is apparently NOT for use on cooling systems or something because it blew out/disintegrated. Bought some t-stat/water SPECIFIC RTV and used a new toyota gasket and BAM, problem solved.
After driving it for...
Wow.
And that d-bag spent upwards of 15 grand on a car. Dumb people who buy "sporty" cars blow my mind.
He should have bought a geo metro.
*edit. Read his second response. I'm pretty sure he's kidding.
I think if your engine bay is as clean as it normally is, that will suffice. Screw the exterior, just open the hood when you arrive.
My situation is the opposite. I will be keeping the hood closed and the body polished and waxed. :)
Of course I still have an ugly bumper, missing trim and paint...
