so I went off the deep end

Fucking stupid. Drunk drivers are homicidal. Period. And should be treated as such. You seem like a cool guy, but fuck, man. Sorry to sound like an ass, but you deserve a LOT more jail time than Jon served for missing a fucking day of community service or whatever. Sorry to hear this and I...

    N/A w/ r154

I believe he has to get a new one because currently he has no clutch. :dunno: I think he just wants to know which one. The pressure plates will be different, so if you get a clutch kit which includes the plate, disc, TO bearing, and pilot, it should be for a turbo. If you're just getting a...

    N/A w/ r154

^^This is key^^. It's not a night and day difference, but it is different. Take it from a few people who have driven healthy versions of both. A worn out tranny will actually seem smoother from my experience. A freshly rebuilt one will feel more "notchy". All that being said, if you are going...

    Considering a move to Colorado

Roadside emissions testing units are there for your convenience so that you dont have to go in when your registration is up every other year. They do not issue tickets what-so-ever. If you fail it horribly, the car's registered might get a notice in the mail saying your emissions might be off...

    R154 swap

Don't waste your money on an r154. Period. ...Unless you plan on making more than 350 hp. Which will NEVER happen on a non-turboed, non-nitroused N/A. Use a w58.

    N/A w/ r154

This again.... :nono: Why would you use an r154? Did you get a great deal on one? Do you plan on going turbo? Why, why, why, why, why, why would you not use a w58 in an N/A?

need help on how to disassemble shifter for marlin bushing

To do the job properly, you still need to get under the car to undo the drain bolt AND the fill bolt to see when it's full. If you have a hand pump I think the job is easy either way. Car needs to be on 4 jackstands and both bolts on tranny need to be removed whichever route you take.

    Gas waster's anonymous

Couldn't have said it better. Sig worthy phrase right there. Gas would have to be $10/gal to keep me from driving my Supra the way it was meant to be driven. :)

    Laptop screen flickering?

Hey guys, anybody run into a problem like this before: I love my Toshiba Satellite notebook, but the screen is getting bugs it seems. The computer is 3 years old. Model M55-S325. The screen will randomly start to flicker and stretch vertically, almost as if the tracking is bad on a VCR and you...

    6m v.s. 7m crank

IJ, can you (or another expert, I suppose) tell me why the 7M crank, which is smoother, has a lower redline? It seems counter-intuitive that the harsher crank has the higher redline. :dunno: My half-educated guess is that the added weight on the 7M would put more stress on bearings at higher...

need help just got an 87 turbo dont know if turbo is bad

Holy mother of GOD. PLEASE try to use some form of the English language on here. There are little punctuations like (.) and (,) or ( ; ) that would LOVE to be used. They are sitting right on your keyboard. USE THEM! That shit may fly in the Honda community, but if you want good help (or any at...

    Radar detector question

Valentine1 or Escort Passport 8500 or better. I own an Escort since I get a discount at work, but either is very effective. There is also a good one by Bell Electronics, I believe. Check radar roy's website for reviews. Anything less than the few "elite" ones are a waste of time and money, IMO.
