I probably could get it done for less, the clip is only $2,600. The labor and additional parts (such as new seals, gaskets, t-stat, spark plugs, etc.) comes to about $2,900. I thought it was a tad excessive at first, too. But then, I realized that EVERYTHING is being done by someone who has...

That's my deposit. 1/2 of the price of the clip now, the other 1/2 when the clip arrives. Then it's stripped and prepped. When I drop the car off, I pay the remainder of my bill, which will end up being $3,400. All totalled I'm spending $6,000 with Aaron. Ouch. Like I said, money well spent.

Or the calender, counting the Fridays. Every Friday = payday. Going hungry for 7 weeks sucks. :mad:

Sent my deposit to Driftmotion Garage today. I've never seen $1,300 disappear so fast. :aigo: I know it's money well spent (sort of), and I'm breathing a little easier now that the wheels are OFFICIALLY in motion. 7 weeks from now I will have the whole swap paid for in full. It can't go by...

Shit, I'm a service advisor at a shop in Oakland and SM is what occupies about 30% of my time. It's slow all over the SF bay right now for auto shops. My boss is going :aigo: LOL

Buy a camber kit. That's how I'm about to fix mine. Otherwise you have to either replace the subframe or have someone weld on new plates.
