Update: Update: We got this all sorted with 3 days of Gieco taking over. She's still waiting for USAA for own up to their share, but she found a new car (1 year newer, better trim level) of the old one. Gieco paid 7 grand for her old car! That went a long ways towards the newer, slightly nicer...

Bracket for 89+ hangs lower, I believe. 89+ is also more square. If they test fit anything, it needs to be clear of stock ic piping. My Lexus drop in replacement was amazing, but they don't clear ic piping unless you cut into the bumper. What are you trying to achieve? Better light pattern...

FWIW, my car has an annoying ticking sound that I believe is the speedo cable. Thought it was from the engine cuz it only happens under load. I was paranoid for a while, but kept checking every possible thing and found nothing. I gave up on it, swapped engines a year or two later and the noise...
