If you take it off you need a JDM ECU or a method for tuning. Leave it on.

There is a relief valve in the oil pump which should limit the oil pressure. IMO, there is zero need for any additional pressure relief. The stock system only has the second relief to allow flow to the cooler. Once the oil is past the pump you should flow all of it to the engine. :)

Completely agreed. I've seen and reviewed the testing. The only reason I use and suggest ARP studs is because they are studs instead of bolts and the cost difference is minimal in the grand scheme. I wouldn't have any major issues with using OEM Toyota hardware if I needed to.

There are loads of reasons and circumstances where it will leak only while driving and never noticeably drip. If the leak is near the exhaust the slow leak may evaporate and stop before the motor cools. I've had multiple leaks which I could only find with a pressure tester. I've rented them a...
