    Power steering reservoir relocating

Moved mine to where the ABS/Charcoal cannister usually sits. My car didn't have ABS so it was a very open space. The lines run up along the AC hardlines. It adds a lot of length to the lines, but performance has been flawless for over a year.

Stock oil pressure gauge readings compared to mechanical

Very cool experiment! I can't wait to update my cluster with a new gauge. This is great motivation. Mind if I catalog your results and maybe use them along with some of my own in the future? Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

so i found a nut in my intake.....

You'd likely need a motor machinist to tell you if it's salvageable, but I dont see why it wouldn't be. Unless you somehow damaged the valve seat and the cast aluminum it sits on I think you're fine. Valves are a cheap replacement, valve guides are cheap. You've just got a good excuse to do a...

    Mk3 supra seat question

Unless you're an upholstery expert I'd let a pro handle the actual covers. Leatherseats.com and such do great kits. I can't imagine a homemade skin looking decent enough to justify the labor required to do one from scratch. I'm a huge DIY guy, but I draw the line at some point. Engine rebuild...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

You know I don't have tems, but I'm contemplating retrofitting my car with it. My other two mk3s had it but the shocks were all blown. I'd bet I could get it virtually for free if I found a junkyard car to pull from. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Theory v. Practice: Wideband sensor location

I read the distance warnings on my AEM, but I have a Raptor Racing Exhaust, fully ceramic coated. The wideband location is in the elbow. I wasn't about to have that ground down and welded again. More than one year and 5k miles or so later and it all seems fine. I'd be curious to see how the...

    Recirculating BOV/BPV. Let's see them.

54 trim CT-26. 6-12 psi, pending my EBC setting. The BPV was bought brand new. Maybe I'll take a look at it tonight. I should have some garage time and I haven't taken it off in over a year.

    Kick me in the Teeth

Damn, sorry to hear Joe. Every time I see a thread from you I'm hoping to see a new project mk3. Not quite the case this time around. :( Your rides have been an inspiration to many, including me. If you ever find yourself in Colorado send me a PM and I'd love to grab lunch or a beer or...

A good portion of you boneheads needs to read this-

I could care less... Ugh. That one has driven nuts since I was in middle school. Why do so many people say it wrong?!

How are your stores ammo shelves looking in your state?

Haha, ouch. The day before the ban the local gun show had 25 round mp15-22 mags for $80 a piece. These gun laws have made a lot of $$ for arms manufacturers and dealers.

    Recirculating BOV/BPV. Let's see them.

I've got a 710n. I think it's also called a 114 and I think is basically a 110. It's used on the Porsche 966 turbos I believe. I love the sound and response, but the surge is annoying. Mostly because every time i hear it i think my turbo is feeling extra strain. They run a pair of them on the...

    Recirculating BOV/BPV. Let's see them.

I run the Bosch bpv and I still get some surge sound on only a few pounds of boost. I think it's the stock accordion connection that's letting me down though. The Dylan wiggins method yields a significant restriction in the plumbing

How are your stores ammo shelves looking in your state?

My favorite local range/gun shop now has reman 9mm at 33/rd in stock as well as .40 and .45. 223 is still a little high at .70-.80/round but its available at least. Most calibers are available, even in bulk. 22lr still seems to be hardest to find. Which has really put a damper on my...

    Comprehensive Lighting Modification Thread

Found some of the finished product pics for the needles. They've been working well for over a year now. It really updates the dash appearance at night. I rarely drive at night now, but when I do it's always a nice upgrade to make it feel like you're driving a newer car. I'd love to get an...

When my local store has deals that include fram and only fram I, in all seriousness, leave the filter at the store. That Fram shit isn't coming in my garage. Lol. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
