    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Yeah, the tool I bought is for import auto and motorcycle valves. It worked pretty well, and also came with a magnetic valve lock remover.

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Well, I finally did get that chance to work on the motor again, but first I needed to do a tuneup to the car, because I failed emissions(NOx was too high). I replaced the plugs, dialed back the fuel pressure to stock, reset the ignition timing, as it was at 16 degrees by accident, and removed...

    compressor surge!! what to do??

I second what Doward said, depends on the Ebay type you got. I have the Tial knockoff, and it has never leaked to my knowledge, and will vent during shifts as low as 1psi. PS- Starscream- I love that Synapse BOV, looks awesome.

    How is carbon fiber cured?

Like the thread says, I was wondering how you actually treat carbon fiber, and form it. Is it worked in a similar fashion to fiberglass weave, in that it is used with a epoxy or polyester resin? I was just wondering if it was that easy, as it seems that it would make more sense to work with CF...

Banjo bolt in back of head wont fit Please help

Yup- Like he said- they might even be able to WIDEN the hole slightly, to weld in an AL bung that matches the original size, instead of top mounting it, causing it to sit higher than stock.

Banjo bolt in back of head wont fit Please help

Dumb question, but are you sure you've got the right bolt? Is it possible you're comparing the bolt hole to a banjo bolt belonging to some other part of the motor? Like I said, it was a dumb question.

HP and TQ guesstimates with this setup...

As for your original question, I would expect you to make about 300-330HP on low boost(~10psi) with that setup, provided the engine is fresh, as stated above.

rod knock...where do i even begin???

Usually rodknock is something you hear on light throttle between 2500-3500rpm, and it sounds like a faint jackhammer during hard acceleration if it's gotten bad enough. if you just put it in neutral, and rev it lightly to 3000, listen to it with the hood open, and if it sounds like a sporadic...

    Having issues pulling r154

I've also heard of the wet tissue trick. Same idea as the grease, it's just perhaps a bit more forceful, as the tissue is more of a solid than the grease.

What's wrong with this turbo's description...?

I count possibly four items in the description which I think are wrong... See if you can name them. I already emailed the seller, asking for verification of some of the info in his auction...
