LOL!
Hell- I thought ALL supra owners left a 14mm wrench back there- it's easier than trying to get it out,
only to have to get it back up there the next time you change starters or clutches...
:biglaugh:
remember that you'll hear the injectors tapping quite loudly, so see if it's a high tapping noise- clicking, or a lower tone. Best of all, use a mechanic's stethescope to find out where the noise is coming from.
Just FYI, I failed emissions this year for NOx, and it turned out to be the cat of all things!
I went over the vacuum control of the egr and the egr itself many times, only to pass with flying colors once I replaced the relatively new cat.
I think the torque setting for the use of motor oil as a lube might have been closer to 100 IIRC, but I wouldn't go that high, Munky- Just use 80 with the lube, and if you find it leaks, you can always torque down more.
LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY!!!!
DO NOT LET THAT AFPR LINE GO ANYWHERE NEAR THAT EXPOSED ALTERNATOR WIRE!!!
That is a positive lead, and guess what- Your AFPR line is grounded.
Wanna see you new engine melt down in a hurry?
Sometimes when your throwout bearing or pilot bearing is getting worn, you'll hear/feel a ticking/vibration when the clutch is disengaged or partially engaged, but it goes away when you fully engage the clutch pedal.
I remember the first time I had a IC coupler pop off under the car- I thought it was the end. Huge amounts of black smoke, didn't like idling, and the turbo would whistle like it was a tea kettle on full tilt.
SO? He didn't say that the 'house' doesn't have wheels on it...
Could be a triple-wide. Besides- he only CLAIMS there's a 7 bedroom house behind the camera. Check this out:

You see a motor, right? What you don't see is that while taking it, I was getting a hand-job from Jessica...
Perfect. An engine hoist made of three tree trunks, and in the background, a dog-igloo with a hole in it, and a set of tires stacked in the dirt, in front of the pickup on the parking slab. I assume the double-wide is behind the camera position?
My second race ever was back in 1985, me in my '77 280z and this guy who must have been at least 60 in a massive 6 liter '60's Mercedes. He beat me. : (
If the engine won't physically crank over, then you prolly have a frozen waterpump, cause massive drag on the belt assembly. Happened to me and seemed like a weak battery.
I don't see the point in removing it, since it doesn't interfere with WOT situations, and keeps your engine cooler. ANYTHING that helps the engine run cooler is a good thing IMO.
