Turbo boost gauge on na cluster, how to make it work.

Most people just put in an aftermarket gauge, since the stock gauge is so slow to react, and only goes to 8psi? In fact most turbo guys get rid of the boost gauge and put in a volt meter. ps- nice detective work, though.

finally got tthe new engine in. misses bad

Have you done the igniter mod? Not sure if it'll cure the miss, but some folks have reported good results. I have a slight miss at idle, like one cylinder takes a break every 3 seconds for one event, but it's not enought to concern me, and it doesn't afftect cruise or performance, just at idle.

finally got tthe new engine in. misses bad

Well, when YOU dry out, make sure sure your plug valley is dried out. And spray a little starting fluid or carb cleaner in isolated parts of the engine, to see if there's a vacuum leak. popular spots for this are- the throttle body gasket, and the lower intake manifold gasket.

    LED Climate Control Conversion Question

You know- you could have just bought one of mine like a month ago. But I digress... The green screen requires that you remove the front black 'panel' that says TEMP on it. Look through the back of the faceplate, and you'll see a small round hole next to the green plastic. use a pencil's...

    New Motor Is Trashed, Fix?

SIP gasket- same brand as cometic? If so, those people are talking about a rivet on the mhg that is so poorly placed, that it interferes with the mating surface, requiring it's removal prior to assembly.

New guy needs a little help

Buy a civic. Ok, ok. 1. Did you prep the head and block surfaces for that HKS hg? If not, you need to take both to a machine shop so they can get you a mirror finish. It's the only way that HG will seal. Might have been your original problem. 2. What kind of PCV system are you...

finally got tthe new engine in. misses bad

Any- and I mean ANY- water around the plugs will cause the spark energy to ground to the head instead of the plug. The missing under load that you describe is the exact issue i had when coolant got into the valley. If you haven't already, make sure that all the plug boots are absolutely bone dry.

    Heater Control valve vacuum lines

Do you mean a difference between the 7mGE and 7mgte? If so, then yes, there's a difference. For one thing, the GE has a vacuum resevoir, mounted under the intake manifold. I'm not sure how the lines match up, going over to the heater vsv. Why not look at the diagram under your hood? It'll be...
