Well, they're not getting fed.
No, my local stealership. I asked how much a new oil galley plug was- $36.00!!
Well, I hope that FIPG is better than most of the stuff I can buy at my local parts stores.
Do you think I should reconsider?
$255 from Driftmotion.com
Hmm. Looked up the bearing online, and found that Oreilly auto sells them for both turbo and na.
NA- $89.99 (Anchor part#8588)
Turbo- $346.99 (Pioneer part #648588)
Holy Shiite muslim. Then I read a thread on here that says NA will fit turbo...
Wow. THAT motor won't be used again. ever.
I have read that the W58 tranny is fine up to 300hp. I used to have that setup with the gte(260hp), and it was quick.
The car looks even better with the black and white photos- can't even tell that it's not one color. :)
Well, if you use head bolts, you don't engage the threads as far down as they go.
Dunno if the studs thread down further, but using a bottom tap hits those dark scary places.
Oil driveshaft, oil pump and Arizona performance supply pipe, done.
Oh- forgot:
I also had my machine shop mill down...
So, I go to begin engine assembly today, and I realize that I can't really trust my old craftsman 1/2" drive torque wrench any more, as I had noticed that
when I set it to like 40 ft-lbs, it would just keep torquing, and not click. So I didn't want to use it without having it calibrated first...
I don't think the engine is supposed to idle at stoich, I would expect it to be leaner than that.
How is power output? I'm wondering if there's a possibility that one of your cams might be off a tooth on timing.
