    Well, what I did was tap the rear coolant threads to a 3/8 NPT, and will use a brass allen plug.

    Got the oil pan powder-coated today, textured black. Feels rock hard, like stone guard.... ...and so does the oil pan...(sorry, couldn't help it.) Going to bring a few things to a metal refinisher shop tomorrow, to be re-zinc'd, like the coolant and vac pipes, alternator adjuster, crank...
